The most efficient and time-saving way to handle a Visa Application for study purposes in Sweden is to personally visit the Swedish Embassy in New Delhi.

Some practical advice:

• You should present the Embassy with complete documentation in original of your study reports and/or reports from previous employment.
• You must present an account statement, preferably in your own name, showing sufficient means to cover living expenses during your stay. Recommended balance is 5.800 Euro per year (SEK 63.000). Only a signed certificate from a relative or family member as a sponsor is not sufficient.
• You should be able to give good reason to why you need this particular course.
• Chosen course should preferably be in line with previous studies, and if not you should give good reason for why this course is necessary for your education.
• You must show sufficient knowledge of English during conversation with the Embassy Staff.
